Another rest day. Armidale is a great little city and worth exploring a bit further.<\/p>\n

Lots of well maintained and restored buildings, churches (Armadale is known as the city of churches) and many parks and other green spaces. Colin, Carrol and I walked the self-guided tour through the downtown area, nice and relaxed, a coffee stop, a beer stop (at the Welder’s Dog), very interesting and amiable.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

At the showgrounds is also a large shed with old (being) restored old farm equipment which was open in the afternoon. Lots of old tractors and other machinery and we got a personal tour from an old bloke who had sold tractors his whole career.<\/p>\n

Afterwards Colin drove us to the uni grounds to have a look at the old, originally private “cottage”, which now houses administration.<\/p>\n

Yes, a typical cottage!<\/p>\n
