Left Gundaroo campground shortly after 8 this morning. We just had a cup of tea and skipped breakfast, because only 16k down the road is the little town of Sutton which has a great cafe/bakery. It’s a favourite destination for roadies from Canberra who do this as an out-and-back ride.

Our next stop was just over an hour later in Dickson where we had a cold drink (no, not beer).

Poor Malcolm has been suffering from a very painful knee and the corrugated gravel section yesterday did nothing to improve it. On the contrary. Today he was really hurting, but he kept bravely pedaling on.

Home again by 1pm.
