After hanging around at the roadhouse in Greenvale yesterday from 6am to 2pm I was able to get a ride from Dago, in an empty grain hauling truck to Charters. It saved me from struggling along 200+ kms of road riding at 42º! I’m taking an extra rest day. Mailed on some really totally unnecessary clothing, warm underwear, sweater, vest. What was I thinking?! This saves almost 2kg in weight.

And simple me thinking liquor prices in BC are so high. Prices here are about DOUBLE of what they are at the BCLDB! And at pubs and taverns beer is about $6 a “schooner”, which is sort of a tiny pint. And that is for your ordinary piss, I have yet to see any craft beer!
