Thank you Timor Tennis Club for the comfortable stay over.

Basically just following the road to Scone and then veer off to Aberdeen. Gundy was just past the ½ way point and I was looking forward to smoko there, but about 2 km before I got there I had my FIRST flat! I can hardly feel sorry for myself, because only the first flat is absolutely amazing, but it delayed my anticipated break and that was annoying. Two little punctures close to each other, weird. Although I started a brand new tiny tube of patch glue it is sort of dry already so I must get some new stuff right away.
In Gundy I had coffee and a super delicious burger that I had to eat in two parts because I couldn’t get my jaw around it!
The last 10 or 15 kms was all

horse farm country. Perhaps that’s why the BNT detour follows this route? Since most trekkers use horses.

Interesting bridge about 5k before Aberdeen

Then the bridge over the Hunter and we’re in Aberdeen. The BNT camp is at St Andrew’s Reserve where there is officially no camping allowed. I haven’t been able to reach the caretaker yet, so I’m just having some beverages at the pub. In a few minutes they will have live music. Country, yahoo! My favorite. Not. I think I’ll go for a swim in the river instead.
Which is right at the St Andrew’s Reserve and looks pretty nice!
