Well, I have arrived in Cairns today, after a grueling 30 hours in transit.

I checked into a little cabin at the Cairns Sunland Leisure Park, not luxurious but clean, and there is a bit of space to get organized. My bike and trailer were put together within the hour and tomorrow grocery and supply shopping are on the program. I will first try to have a good long sleep! The next couple of days will be busy preparing food and equipment parcels that need to be mailed.
