No rain last night. Got up at 4 and pushed off at shortly after 5 when it was starting to get light. I was sorry to leave this beautiful creek. Three or four vehicles drove in and out of Glen Dhu Station but paid me no attention.

Wairuna Station, now a National Park
Today was mostly flat and actually more down than uphill. No water in any other creeks, so the dam was it.

A big dam but hard to get water from because you sink into the clay at the edge and don’t want to get stuck. gazillion of little tiny frogs or roads along the edges.
I got there at 11:45 and called it quits. Temperature in the shade is 36º and I cannot seem to cool down enough to keep going. All the energy gets zapped out of me. Even lying in the shade I keep soaking my shirt to keep cool. Are we having fun yet?
Tomorrow is a relatively short 45k to Camel Creek Station and I may just camp there if they don’t mind.
Total 63k, 560m uphill
