From a beautiful full dam to a clear running creek. That’s more like it!

A rather uneventful day along gravel roads that run to various and sundry stations. I meant to leave before dawn, but there was a tremendous downpour and many smaller showers overnight. Was I glad to be under the metal porch roof! Noisy, but virtually dry. Will try the early departure again tomorrow. That 35º heat really seems to get to me. It’s okay for lazing around, but the slightest uphills become a countdown: almost there yet? Even though you know there are many more to follow. There is more rain in the forecast and no metal roof above me today. A chance to find out what my tent is made of!
