Walcha #2

Tuesday 12 Feb 2019

Walcha is a nice little town with a population of 850,000. Correction, that’s the number of sheep in the shire, the human population is 1,800. But there is a gazillion number of art works along the streets and in town parks. I went for an art walk yesterday afternoon and continued this morning. Here is just a small selection of about 40 different works.

And a view from the Nivision Lookout

Back at the caravan park, who show up? Yes, Colin and Carrol, WITH my cutlery that I’d left in the camp kitchen in Armidale! They assure me they didn’t make a special trip and that they were planning to come this way anyway, but I’m not convinced. Thank you very much mates! I’ve been looking for replacements in Uralla and here in Walcha, but to no avail.
