Made it to Mutchilba, but there is no Telstra reception, only Optus. Anyway, the way out of Dinden National Park was smooth sailing. None of the crazy ups and downs like yesterday.

Lots of termite hills

From Mareeba I already sent a little update. Google navigation showed a more interesting route to Mutchilba than just along the highway, but they had me on, because about halfway the “road” ended at a creek and the track had totally disappeared. But after some backtracking I was able to cross on a rail bridge and then connected to and followed the highway.

Camp beside Walsh River just outside town. Have no appetite though, just having a cup of soup.
